NSW $15,000 interest-free loan for solar and batteries

For Moama, Deniliquin, Finley and the rest of our NSW border towns, the interest-free loan is often the difference between “we should” and “we did”. Eligible households can access up to $15,000, interest-free, toward solar, batteries and other whole-home energy upgrades.

Stacked with federal STCs, a typical single-phase 6.6kW + 16kWh package can be structured at $0 upfront when the loan is approved. That is not a slogan we print on every roof — it is a structure we model when the site, the credit assessment and the product mix actually fit.

Larger systems still benefit. A 13.3kW + 32kWh job will not always be zero-upfront, but the loan takes a large bite out of the cash required, and the extra storage is what makes an all-electric house work through a Murray winter evening.
