What we collect

When you use the quote form or the solar builder, we collect what you enter: name, phone number, email address, property address, your state, details about your property and energy use (roof type, phase, existing solar, quarterly bill, whether it's residential, farm or commercial), what you're interested in, and any notes you add. If you attach a photo of your bill or switchboard, or another document, that file is collected too.

We don't run analytics or advertising trackers on this site at the time of writing, so we don't collect browsing behaviour, cookies for advertising, or device fingerprinting. If that changes, we'll update this page.

Why we collect it

Solely to get back to you with a quote or answer your enquiry — sizing a system, working out which rebates and finance you're eligible for, and calling or emailing you about it. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't sell it.

Where it goes and who sees it

Form submissions are delivered to us through Formspree, a third-party form processing service. Formspree receives what you submit and forwards it to our inbox — see Formspree's own privacy policy for how they handle data in transit. A copy of what you submit is also saved briefly in your own browser's local storage, purely so the form can restore your answers if you accidentally navigate away mid-form — that copy never leaves your device and isn't something we can see or access.

Beyond Formspree, we don't share your details with any other third party, and we never sell it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as reasonably needed to follow up, quote, and — if you go ahead — deliver and support the job, plus a reasonable period after for our own records. If your enquiry doesn't turn into a job, ask us to delete your details at any time (see below) and we will.

Your options

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — email info@nexusenergygroup.com.au or call 0408 258 298 and ask for Brooke or Lachie. We'll action it promptly. Deleting your details won't affect any job already in progress or completed, where we may need to keep records for warranty, safety or legal reasons.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep the information you give us secure, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle your information changes — for example, if we add analytics or a new third-party tool — we'll update this page. The date at the top reflects the last update.
