Five acts. One team.
The journey
Scroll through how Nexus Energy Group came together — in a town whose own name means “meeting of the waters” — and why whole-home energy under one roof matters for regional VIC & NSW.
I
Act I · The river town
Two directors. One shared vision.
Echuca Moama sits where the Murray, Campaspe and Goulburn rivers meet — the town’s own name is said to mean “meeting of the waters.” It’s a place built on things coming together. Brooke and Lachie brought their trades together the same way: two directors, one shared vision, so homeowners and businesses could get a complete energy solution under one roof, at a fair price, without juggling multiple contractors.
II
Act II · Five services
Solar. Electrical. Comfort. Hot water. Security.
Whole-home energy only works when the trades talk to each other. We aligned solar, battery, refrigerative heating & cooling, heat pump hot water and security so every upgrade supports the next.
III
Act III · The name
Nexus. Where everything connects.
A nexus is a point where things connect — and that’s what this stretch of the Murray has always been: three rivers meeting, two states sharing a bridge, two towns that run as one. The name isn’t just Brooke and Lachie joining forces, though it’s that too. It’s the same togetherness locals already feel about Echuca Moama, applied to how we work: one trading name, one plan, one team accountable for design, install and aftercare — so customers are never left coordinating between companies when something needs attention.
IV
Act IV · Regional reach
VIC & NSW. Local support that stays.
From Echuca Moama into Shepparton, Bendigo, Deniliquin and beyond — we maximise federal and state rebates and interest-free finance, then stand behind the work with local service.
V
Act V · What’s next
Your home. One coordinated package.
Whether it is a first solar system, a full battery backup, or a whole-home upgrade — start with a free assessment. No sales pressure. Just honest advice from your local team.
Who you'll actually deal with
The team
Shaymus
Head of Operations
A local boy from Gunbower, Shaymus completed his four-year electrical apprenticeship under Brooke and is a qualified solar and battery installer in his own right. He's mostly off the tools these days — he's Nexus' hero behind the keyboard, running Operations — though he still gets called in on the roof during our busiest periods. Because he's an A-Grade electrician and certified installer, he understands the job from the ground up, not just from a spreadsheet. Six years in the office and three years running Operations for Solar means he's seen it all, and his knowledge base and business sense run deep. He cares — genuinely — and that shows in how he deals with customers: he only wants the job done right, to the best standard possible.
