GoodWe ESA — the home battery we actually install

We specify GoodWe ESA because it does the three jobs a regional home actually needs: soak up midday solar, run selected circuits when the grid drops, and show you what is happening without a science degree. The EHA range covers single-phase homes; ETA covers three-phase sheds and larger houses.

Chemistry is LFP — the safe, stable lithium-iron-phosphate pack you want on a garage wall. Capacity is expandable, which matters. A 16kWh unit is the sweet spot for many Echuca Moama houses; 32kWh is the conversation when you are electrifying heating, hot water and an EV at once.

Backup is designed, not assumed. A battery does not magically run a ducted reverse-cycle, a pool pump and a kettle at the same time. We map essential circuits — lighting, refrigeration, communications, a heating zone in winter — and we tell you what will wait until the grid returns.

The monitoring app is clear enough that we hand it over at commissioning and people actually use it. That is half the value: seeing that the dishwasher at 1pm is free, and that the 6pm spike is what the battery is for.

If you already have solar from another installer, ESA can still be the storage layer. We will not pretend every existing inverter is a perfect pair — we check first.
