Energising your home — a practical path to lower bills and better comfort

The houses that actually cut bills in this region do not start and stop with a 6.6kW kit. They get the sequence right. Solar first if the roof is ready, because everything else runs cheaper on your own generation. Battery next if you want evening self-consumption and backup. Then the loads: reverse-cycle instead of gas heating, heat pump instead of a resistive cylinder, induction instead of the last gas cooktop.

Each step multiplies the last. A heat pump without solar is still efficient; a heat pump on solar you already paid for is close to free hot water in summer. A battery without efficient loads is an expensive buffer; a battery behind an electrified house is what keeps the lights and the fridge on in a storm.

This is why we refuse to be “just the solar guys” or “just the air-con guys”. Conflicting systems and four different contractors is how you spend twice and still have a house that fights itself.
